The point about the Canadian politician reading the AI chatbot comments is telling about the future and moreover, the battle for truth.... I couldn't sleep.
The current system IS working Gonzo! It's working the way the capitalists designed, to the letter. You call it a dystopian view and I agree but people have got it because they gave up on the Utopian view that was in the heart but didn't manage to migrate to their head. Somewhere along the way it fell into a bottomless pit of dis and mis information. Some are trying to claw their way out but the jealousy of those that are still trapped keeps grabbing them by the ankles and pulling them back. They, the globes numerous capitalists have to curb that natural instinct to survive because it could mean THEIR death.
I'm reading this first thing in the morning. Before the noise and hysteria starts. It's still dark and its raining so light won't come for a while. The perfect piece to enjoy with the morning's first cup of coffee. Breathe!
Humanity could be, but I think we need to get a handle on how we treat psychopathy PDQ. Too many times in history has humanity been pushed off course by an individual or group of psychopaths. It’s a real issue but these traits show up remarkably young - we need to figure out how to deal with it so that these people end up on a more socially productive track.

I’ve been writing an inconsequential textile blog since 2006 on WP and I’m really annoyed at how AI use is promoted every single time I post there.
I don’t need or want to sound “smarter” than I am but I know for sure that the blog is scraped by AI for others to do their AI best.
But yes. The resources we waste when it could be put to uses to really better people’s lives…
